Public Hearing Notice

Please take notice that on Tuesday, July 11th, 2023, at 6:30 P.M., there will be a Public Hearing conducted by the Gate City Town Council.

The Public Hearing will be held at the Gate City Town Hall, 156 East Jackson Street, Gate City, Virginia for the purpose of taking public comment on the following:

  • Special Exception and Use Permit: Install fence at 163 Eva Street.
    The Current Zoning Code restricts fences on corner lots to 3’ in height.  The proposed Special Exception and Use Permit will allow for a 6’ fence in height with a 7’ offset.

The Public is Invited to attend and express their opinion on this matter.

Questions about the public hearing should be directed to the office of the Gate City Town Manager.

Anyone needing assistance or accommodation under the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act and planning to attend the public hearing should call the Gate City Town Hall at (276) 386-3831 at least five (5) days in advance of the public hearing.
