The Personnel Committee acts as an advisory board to the Gate City Town Council in matters related to personnel issues such as; researching, drafting and recommending personnel policies, job descriptions, pay scales, and participate in the process of interviewing candidates for council appointed positions. The Personnel Committee foster a team approach for all departments and strive to create an environment that encourages employee feedback.
