🚧 Now Hiring – Part-Time Public Works Laborer 🚧

The Town of Gate City Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a Part-Time Public Works Laborer.

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking team player who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in serving the community. This position primarily involves trash collection, grounds maintenance, weed eating, mowing, and maintaining Town parks, streets, and public facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
✅ High school diploma or equivalent
✅ Excellent physical condition
✅ Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in landscaping, mowing, tree trimming, 2-cycle engines, and industrial mowing equipment.

Successful applicants must pass a DMV motor vehicle record check, drug screen, and criminal background check.

💲 Starting Pay: $17.78–$20.28 per hour (DOQ)
