GATE CITY TOWN COUNCIL & PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE OF JOINT WORKSHOP MEETING
Please take notice that on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. there will be a Joint Workshop Meeting conducted by the Gate City Town Council and Planning Commission.
The Workshop Meeting will be held at the Gate City Town Hall Council Chambers at:
156 East Jackson Street
Gate City, Virginia
The Gate City Town Council and Planning Commission will be meeting to discuss the following:
- Discuss amending R-1 & R-2 Zoning definition to include “Tiny Homes” (under 400 square feet) as an accessory structure (with Planning Commission)
- Council Salary Increase (Town Council)
- Community Park Hours (Town Council)
- Food Trucks (Town Council)
No other business will be discussed at this meeting.
The public is invited to attend and express their opinion on these matters.
