GATE CITY TOWN COUNCIL
NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
Please take notice that on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, at 6:30 P.M., there will be a Special Called Meeting conducted by the Gate City Town Council.
The Special Called Meeting will be held at the Gate City Town Hall Council Chambers located at:
156 East Jackson Street
Gate City, Virginia
The Gate City Town Council will be meeting to discuss and/or receive a vote on the following:
• Appoint Mayor Jamie Lawson to the Sanitation Authority
• Appoint Joey Rusek to the Sanitation Authority
• Gate City Frontier, Inc July 5th event request
• Rescind FY 26 Town Budget Public Hearing
• Approved May 27th, 2025: FY 26 Town Budget Public Hearing
* Closed Session: Legal and Personnel matters.
The Public is Invited to attend and express their opinion on these matters.
Questions about the meeting should be directed to the office of the Gate City Town Manager.
