The 12th annual Clinch Mountain Music Fest will be held in Gate City, VA on June 16 & 17, 2017. The bluegrass music venue is one of the featured festivals during the Crooked Road’s Mountains of Music Homecoming.
Mountains of Music Homecoming is scheduled from June 9-17 at venues along the 330-mile Crooked Road, Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail in Southwest Virginia. The nine-day festival showcases regional music, food and culture.
The goal of the Clinch Mountain Music Fest has been to preserve the heritage of the Appalachian region through its music. As in years past, the festival is dedicated to Jay Dixon who chaired the event for five years before his death in January of 2012.
